Match report The game this evening was like a curate’s egg – good in parts but not so good in others.

Good parts included the general fielding display, Alfie’s 3 for 17 from 4 overs and the introduction of some of the younger players to the team - Jacob Heaton, Ollie Putt and Louie Smith.

Bad parts included the general batting display and the length of grass in the outfield.

The match went down to the wire as Maldon scrabbled a single of the final ball of their innings - well done to you.

Not to worry – we go again next Wednesday in the league against the same opposition. #strongertogether
